Meet Taneka

Taneka Rubin is a former professional basketball player, national championship-winning coach, and the founder of Winners Win.

After tearing her ACL in high school and overcoming countless challenges, Taneka went on to play Division I basketball and enjoy a successful professional career in Europe. Today, she pours that same resilience and passion into helping student-athletes develop the mindset, habits, and leadership skills they need to succeed.

At Montverde Academy—the nation’s #1 high school athletic program—Taneka serves as the Student-Athlete Development Coordinator and Assistant Coach for the nationally ranked girls’ basketball team. She also directs camps with PGC Basketball, training and mentoring athletes across the world.

Through her book-Winners Win, the CHAMP curriculum, and engaging programs, Taneka is on a mission to equip athletes to thrive in their sport, in the classroom, and in life. Winners Win is a movement to raise up the next generation of student-athletes.
